As our 2019 season is winding down and we start gearing up for the start of our 2020 season, some members of our team are hitting the road to attend conferences and events across the U.S., and spending time connecting with our customers and answering their questions. Recently McMurray Hatchery Vice President, Tom Watkins, was at the National Heirloom Expo in Santa Rosa, CA answering questions about breeds, caring for flocks, how to get started, and more.

Hosted by Baker Creek, the National Heirloom Exposition began as a way to create awareness on issues surrounding “pure food.” Today the Expo has grown into a three-day event featuring a wide variety of speakers, vendors from across the country, and attracting more than 20,000 attendees.

Thanks to all the attendees that took a minute to stop by our booth and visit with us, sign up for a chance to win a McMurray Hatchery Gift Certificate and merchandise, or just grab a free catalog. Here are the winners of our drawings:

  • Eric Telmer, Oakland, CA — McMurray Hatchery Signature T-shirt
  • Michele Craig, Petaluma, CA — McMurray Hatchery Signature Travel Mug
  • Ben Lyone, Vacaville, CA — $50 McMurray Hatchery Gift Certificate
