Original Poll Announcement

We’ve tallied the responses to the semi-finalist poll for the Best Breed Photo category. Because the results for fifth and sixth position were so close, we have selected the top six entries as the finalists.  Each finalist has received as a prize a $25 coupon good for any purchase at McMurray Hatchery.

Now we need you to rate the six finalist photos.  Click the link below to take the finalist poll.

    It was an extremely difficult undertaking. I ranked and re-ranked them so many times that I lost count. I finally had to consider which photo illustrated each breed’s best qualities. But, that said, I think they were all deserving of first!

    The entries for the photo contest were so good, it took me all day to vote for the final six. It was really hard trying to decide on the photos, they were great pictures. One day I wish to have my own small flock of chickens.
