I absolutely love the photos and the different styles of coops. I have started my own farm and I can’t wait to get the chickens, ducks, turkeys, and geese we ordered.

  2. Rita says:

It suonds like you and the girls are settling in. I know that you Morrison girls will be well taken care of at the McNabb homestead. We are just up the road if you need anything! We will see you all soon. Love and big hugs to all!

Thank you for piotsng the art work!!! It was really good to have an update on the girls. I would imagine you are excited to be able to be in OKC for the whole week….and live in your new home for a week! Love you.

These are some unique and classic awesome shots. I love them. I can only imagine that this was really hard to decide which one were the actual winners.

  5. Florence Keagy says:

I am so glad to get the emails and photo’s. I love all of them. They are all winners.

  6. Leslie Peterfeso says:

I have another idea for a photo contest: clever, unusual, amusing nesting boxes. They need to be functional, too – not just for decoration.

  7. Jean says:

I have 2 beautiful blue coral guinea hens 13 wks old. When they clean (preen) I notice
a scaly maybe like dry skin flakes in their cage, does anyone of you with guineas see
this and what is it? Appreciate your answer.

  8. Lisa B says:

I wish I’d seen these contests earlier. I have a few lovely shots of my hens and my roos! :)

  9. Laurie says:

I’m looking forward to seeing the other chicken house entry photos too. The winners had wonderful chicken coops, and it’s fun seeing what people came up with.

  10. Cathy Haney says:

Where can we see the other photos entered in the chicken coop contest? I only saw the three winners but would like to see the others entered, please.

    • Matthew Pressly says:

Cathy, we plan to put up photo galleries on our website to show the contest photos. We’ll post an update on the blog.

  11. BARBARA S. says:

I think that it is a wonderful feeling to have chickens around. They are comforting and funny little creatures. I want to get back with raising chickens and other poultry, but it is not possible at this time. Money is my situation. I’m not giving up on my small backyard farm dream. Thank you for letting me be a part of your contests, even if it is to look at pictures or to have a chance to help judge. I just love those little guys.
